India Post GDS Recruitment 2022: All You Need To Know

The postal department in India has announced a total of 38,926 vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevaks/BPM/ABPM/. The recruitment will be done on the basis of competitive merit. In order to apply, candidates must be aware that they will have to register online only and not via any other mode.

Candidates should read these instructions carefully before applying since there is a specific mode of submission. Interested applicants can apply online through the official website of the India Post (Here). All applicants must submit their applications online; any other form of submission will not be accepted. The application process has already begun, and the last date for registration is June 5.

If we talk about document verification, the selected candidate will have to bring original documents and some photocopies for submission.

Qualification

The GDS candidate must have at least a Class 10th (or equivalent) passing certificate. Candidates must have successfully passed the English examination and Mathematics conducted by the state governments.

Eligibility

The Candidate should be able to ride a bicycle, motorcycle or scooter for recruitment to the post of GDS. Past experience of a job or service of any kind will not be considered for selection.

Age Restriction

Candidates, ages must be between 18 years to 40 years.

Application Fee

All applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs.100 INR. There is no charge for women, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Disabled, Transgender.

Salary

After selection candidates will be able to get a salary of up to 12,000 INR and also Rs 12,000 INR for the BPM post candidates while candidates for BPM/DakSevak position will get a salary of Rs 10,000 INR.
