Each year, the event’s co-chairs are tasked with setting the tone for the evening. In 2021, the event was co-chaired by Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman, Naomi Osaka and Timothée Chalamet for now Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King, and Lin-Manuel Miranda are co-chairing Met Gala 2022.

Taylor Swift and a long list of other influencers are expected to attend this year’s Met Gala, but it is still unknown whether Taylor will be attending the event. Last year, however, she skipped the event due to conflicting schedules.
