Naseem Shah, a young Pakistani cricketer, is now the third player to secure four or more wickets in an innings against Australia. Mohammad Amir and Shahid Afridi were the previous two players who achieved this feat.

He made his international debut for Pakistan in November 2019 against the same opponent “Australia”. 19 years old young Pakistani bowler took the wicket of Travis Head, Steve Smith, and Cameron Green. The youngster also claimed Nathan Lyon as his fourth wicket. The youngster bowled 31 overs and returned 4 wickets for 58 runs.

Naseem achieved the milestone in the third and final Test match between Australia and Pakistan. He was instrumental in providing the crucial breakthrough, claiming the wicket from Steve Smith for 59.

Naseem Shah has also made several records like, at 17 years, he became the youngest player to win a Test hat trick. In the 2nd test match against Srilanka being at the age of 16, he also took his first five-wicket haul.
