After nearly a decade of absence from the stage, No Doubt is making a highly anticipated return to Coachella 2024. The news, unveiled on Tuesday along with the festival’s lineup, brings together headliners Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat. Additionally, the event marks Blur’s first U.S. performance in nine years, and Sublime is set to reunite with Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob taking on the role of frontman.
Though the lineup didn’t specify the participating members of No Doubt, the group hinted at their reunion earlier on Tuesday through a social media teaser.
The clip featured Stefani reminiscing about the past, sharing artwork from the 1995 album “Beacon Street Collection.” Feeling nostalgic, Stefani initiated a video call with bassist Tony Kanal, prompting a reunion discussion with guitarist Tom Dumont and drummer Adrian Young. Amidst banter, the quartet collectively agreed that a proper reunion was long overdue.
In addition to these long-awaited comebacks, Coachella 2024 promises a dynamic and diverse lineup, bringing together established names and iconic acts to create a memorable musical experience for festival-goers.
