Pakistan Will Host Tent Pegging World Cup
Tent Pegging World Cup Qualifiers to Go Ahead in Pakistan, India Loses Hosting Rights. India will not be hosting the international Tent Pegging World Cup qualifiers after their players were found to be participating in the Nepal team, impersonating to be Nepalese.
The news was broken recently by leading Indian media, who also reported that all qualifying rounds for the world cup have been canceled and moved to Pakistan.
According to the report, India firstly registered Nepal on its own, and then was able to make Indian athletes wear the Nepali jersey. Following the time that Indian media reported on the fraud, International Tent Pegging Federation took over the hosting rights of India. The remainder of the qualifying matches will be held in Pakistan due to illegal schemes implemented that were implemented by India.
Additionally, Indian horsemen impersonating Nepalese players have been banned by International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF).
Remember that, Pakistan is already qualified in this year’s Tent Pegging World Cup by participating in this same qualification event.
