SS Rajamouli’s RRR movie is now the most popular movie of all time if we look at its one-day box office collection, topping the charts with its massive around 138 crores on opening day.

If we try to look at the movies that collected a handsome amount on their first day then there will be RRR on top with approx 138 Crores. The next spot is held by Saaho, which had made 88 crores on day 1. While Akshay & Rajnikaanth’s 2.0 movie made 63 crores, Hrithik Roshan’s War has made more than 53.35 crores and Thugs Of Hindostan is in the last with 52 crores.

The film has broken all-day 1 records in the Telugu States, as well as a strong recovery in the first weekend, is expected. If the film can recover 67% of its budget with non-theatrical rights alone, it can expect to be profitable even before theatrical returns are factored in.
