WhatsApp Feature: Now you can join calls using a link
WhatsApp is working on more ways to help people chat. The messaging app just rolled out the ability to join a call even if it had already started, and now it will soon let you create links to invite others to join calls (As like Zoom meetings). Previously, WhatsApp users could create group chats or calls. Now, you’ll be able to create one-off links for WhatsApp calls and share them with whomever you want. Then, users having access to that link will be able to join the call even if they are not on the contact list.
This is one of the most recent features coming to WhatsApp that will make it easier for groups of people to communicate through voice calls using a specific link. The feature is expected to be available in the near future. According to a report from WABetainfo, the feature is not currently available, but WhatsApp is “working on releasing this feature in a future update.”
WhatsApp is not only working on bringing back message reactions feature on its desktop platform but also giving users the ability to search messages. The messaging app has been spotted working on a new search message shortcut. The feature was recently spotted on the beta version of WhatsApp’s app for Android. It will help users look for specific messages that are available within their chats.
